Glossary

Term	Meaning
Window	One tradeable period on one ticker: an opening print, a closing print, one cadence (5m/15m/60m, the Monday Gap, or 24/7 token).
Series	A ticker + cadence pair (for example TSLA-5m). Owns the price policy and the order books its Windows use.
Book	The order book for one Window — bids and asks, matched price-time. Recycled between Windows on the same Series.
Ledger	The seat registry for one Window: who's in, their escrowed cash and outcome balances.
Seat	One trader's slot in a Window's Ledger. A small refundable bond holds a seat open; it returns when you leave.
Print	A signed price value for one boundary (open or close) of a Window, verified on-chain. See price sources.
Policy version	A Series' price-source rule for a date range (which source, thresholds, admission window). Registered in advance; never edited once written.
PostOnly / IOC / FOK / Normal	Order types. PostOnly only rests, never takes. IOC takes what it can, cancels the rest. FOK reverts unless it fills completely. Normal rests if it doesn't fully fill.
Mint-pair / burn-pair	A fill where a complete Yes/No pair is created or destroyed, because both sides of the trade are buyers (mint) or both are sellers (burn).
Void	A Window that pays 0.5/0.5 instead of settling, because a required print never arrived (`MissingPrint`) or two price sources disagreed too much (`CrossCheckDivergence`, TSLA only). Stake returns as credit.
tUSDC	Agari's devnet test collateral, a 6-decimal SPL token with no market value.
Trading Balance	A balance held in `agari-vault`, used for tap-trading instead of a wallet-signed order each time.
Session key / grant	A separate signing key your wallet authorizes with spending caps (per trade, per day, open positions) — never your wallet's own private key, and it never leaves your browser.
24/7 lane	One-hour Windows that trade around the clock: xStocks on Switchboard, OpenAI's PreStocks token and the five baskets on attested PreStocks prices.
Cover	A Down call a holder takes as insurance on tokens the connected wallet holds (xStocks, Ondo or PreStocks tokens, or two or more members of a basket).
Schedule a call	A post-only call rested on a stock Window before its bell; see pre-open calls.
Short	A Down position the Boost reserve holds and marks against the book, with an exit at any time and a knock-out line; see Short a fall.
Halt	A wide or issuer-level trading halt signal. Shown as "Trading halted." A merely stale price print is shown as "Signed price stale" instead — a different, more common state.
